Tres LA Tastemakers Dinner

We were happy to attend and design florals for the incredible Tres L.A. Tastemaker's Dinner. Chef Scott McDonough spoiled guests with an unforgettable six-course dinner, wine pairing and mouth-watering cocktails to celebrate the official grand opening of the Carondelet House, a venue so stylish, Alber Elbaz introduced the Lanvin spring 2012 collection there.
The amuse bouche consisted of West Indian spiced meringue with candied walnuts, chopped apples and raisin bread. Our first course was a beautifully presented sliced Canadian duck breast over cranberry polenta fries. Then we were served tuna and hamachi carpaccio with bulgogi vinaigrette; liquid black truffle ravioli with sweet corn veloute and roasted porcini mushrooms; and juniper crusted elk loin with trio of spring carrots, parsnip puree and bargamot emulsion.
Desserts came in several choices from strawberry-rhubarb shortcake with creme fraiche ice cream to strawberry mousse to confit rhubarb and fresh gaviota strawberries. Needless to say, it was all fabulous! Thank you Next Exit for these lovely photos!
