Amanda and Jono
Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 6:00AM Amanda and Jono's wedding was an ecclectic mix of Southern Garden Tea Party / Italian Villa / Aussie Casual and the combination worked well! Amanda grew up in Louisiana and Jono is from Australia, so they wanted to incorporate elements from both places into their black-tie wedding at a private residence in Laguna Beach.
The wedding was so elegant, drawing from a color palette of green and tangerine to honor their Irish heritage. An incredible gospel choir sang during the ceremony as the wedding party walked down the aisle Southern style and the reception even included a 'Second Line' dance with parasols.
The groom's cake was 100% Australian; a gorgeous lamington sponge cake that is traditionally coated in a layer of chocolate icing and desiccated coconut.
