Fashion to Floral: Part 4 Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012

Burberry Prorsum is so steadfastly English and concurrently modern London. We love it! The runway show feels very English country with Victorian silhouettes and added touches of humor, velvet and belts tied in a pretty bow. The patterns and color palette are perfect for autumn with tweed, plaid and stripes in grey, brown, teal, purple and mustard. Women for Obama: Women's Leadership Forum

I was so thrilled to create the floral design for the Women's Leadership Forum with First Lady, Michelle Obama. The DNC's Women's Leadership Forum organizes regional and national events and provides women with information, contacts and inspiration, while generating financial support for the Democratic Party. Michelle Obama gave an inspiring 21-minute speech to more than 300 guests at a lovely private estate right here in L.A.

The event was planned by William Miller and the color scheme was taken from a photograph by Valerie Goodloe and the stationary consisted of chocolate and ivory metallic paper. We incorporated this chocolate color into our arrangements and the vases of peach, green and white flowers. Maysa Leaks (the former lead singer of Incognito) and Abraham McDonald entertained everyone at the Leadership Forum, which turned out to be a big success.  Thank you for these beautiful photos Robert Evans!

tic-tock and I Do Over! The Tumbagas Episode

We've got professional photos taken by Mike Colon of the Tumbagas Wedding on I Do Over! Jung and Victor Tumbagas experienced a disastrous first wedding, with severe weather ruining everything! Jung was excited to be getting a do-over wedding, but also hesitant to trust Diann's vision for her perfect day. Of course, Jung ended up being pleasantly surprised at how beautiful her dream wedding turned out to be.

We went all out, using thousands of beautiful yellow flowers with help from 1-800-FLOWERS and Diann Valentine and her crew. The beautiful fountain was our centerpiece of the reception, with lush and cheerful yellow flowers and lots of candles. Diann and Celebrations.com designed an amazing Candyland Lounge for the reception that was pure eye candy. Wildflower Linen worked their magic, as always, with some fabulous table linens. The menu and placecards were so elegant and were made by the Diann Valentine Wedding Stationary Collection. Don't miss the next episode of I Do Over! on Sunday at 10E / 9C on WEtv!
