Ivy and Sione's Hummingbird Nest Ranch Wedding

Ivy and Sione's wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch was like a beautiful dream! Fancy That! Events, once again, created a stunning wedding and reception for this NFL player and his beautiful wife. The bridal bouquet was an abundant and ecclectic mix of lush florals in green and white and we added some lavender into the bridesmaid's bouquets and groomsman's boutonnieres to add a pop of color.

The reception featured incredible Polynesian Fire Dancers, amazing food by Roberts Catering, a gorgeous cake by Rafi's Pastry and fireworks! Congratulations Ivy and Sione!

Easter Tabletop Design

Easter is almost here! Have you decided how you'll decorate your table for Easter dinner yet? Color, texture and visual diversity are integral parts of tabletop design. The lavender, coral, pink and shades of green in this design are brilliant and perfect for Easter. Hydrangea, green berries, wood and a gorgeous floral tablecloth add plenty of texture to this traditional, yet unique design.

This particular tabletop design is very natural, while still incorporating lots of harmonizing color. Don't be afraid of color! As long as you are able to create unity by relating the design elements and color to the idea or theme being expressed, you'll be fine. Fashion to Floral Part 2: Dolce and Gabbana Winter 2013

Dolce and Gabbana's beautifully rich Winter 2013 line presents a collection of Sicilian Baroque styles featuring lovely embroidery, florals, cherubs and angels. We love that it's traditional and modern at the same time in a color pallette of white, black, gold, nude and beige with pops of red, orange and shades of lavender.

Dolce and Gabbana is still incorporating quite a bit of lace into the new designs and we're still loving it! The line's accessories include Capodimonte-style flowers, cherub earrings, headbands and small combs decorated with stones and embroidery and pumps, ankle boots and knee-high lace-ups. The Miss Sicily and Dolce bags are gorgeous and also incorporate embroidered fabrics.

The cut and proportions are fresh and inspired by the cape. It's not easy to make a cape look modern and new, but they've managed to get it just right for this very inspiring collection.

Spring 2012 Trend: Florals!

Spring is coming and flowers are sprouting up on runways all over the world! Rodarte's borrowing Van Gogh's sunflowers and making them his own; Blugirl takes a classic, yet fresh approach to floral prints; and Erdem, Prabal Gurung and Peter Som mix menswear and flowers to create something feminine with an edge. Oscar de la Renta channels the 70's with his strapless, yellow dress that, by the way, would make a great bridesmaid dress! We've paired up these stunning floral fashions with their perfect accessory: a tic-tock Couture Florals arrangement!

A Sneak Peek at Melissa and Dan's Wedding

Working with Fancy That! Events is always a joy! Melissa and Dan had over 100 guests fly into L.A. from Chicago and Canada for their wedding at the Taglyan Cultural Complex, and the girls at Fancy That! made sure the event went off without a hitch.

Some people are afraid of color, but not Melissa and Dan! The blues, silver and lavenders looked great together. They even had individual wine bottles customized by Creative Works Designs that were adorable. The Taglyan provided a gorgeous traditional, embroidered table cloth for the head table and the cake by Cake Studio Cafe was amazing!

These iPhone photos do not do this wedding justice, but this is just a sneak peek. Stay tuned for professional photos coming soon!
