Guess 30th Anniversary Parties: Part 2

As promised, we have photos of the second Guess 30th Anniversary Party to share with you, courtesy of the amazing Marianne Lozano

Guess 30th Anniversary Parties: Part 1

We recently had an opportunity to design the florals to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Guess. The designer jean brand threw two anniversary parties to celebrate 30 years in the business and invited Guess employees and friends.

The first party was a rave-style event complete with fashion show and DJ Tiesto, playing a long set of electronic dance music. The party went into the wee hours and guests enjoyed viewing mock storefronts featuring Guess boutiques from years past. Enjoy this amazing photos by the very talented Marianne Lozano and stay tuned to the blog for Part 2 of the Guess 30th Anniversary Parties!

Tea with E: The Details

When the time came to begin planning our second annual Tea With E, I think the first question on everyone’s mind was “How do we create an even more fabulous experience for our guests”?

I think that’s the first question on just about anyone’s mind when creating an event but when that event is for the Wedding industry’s finest, the pressure is really on.  Our guests have devoted their careers to creating perfect days for couples to share their love and exchange their vows – long hours spent in a labor of love and they are so deserving of an afternoon with no need for anything but to relax, enjoy and laugh among old friends and new. Creating this for them is our vision and so, we set to brainstorming with Raye C Marketing’s Rhonda Couchigian, who, like us, is never out of ideas.

When we began we knew a few things:

1. This year’s Tea With E needed to top last year.

2. Only the best would do.

Last year, Tea With E was a Mad Hatter inspired event and this year, we thought a proper English Afternoon Tea would be perfect! Since no one knew the date of the Royal Wedding when we began, the fact that the two coincided was some sort of cosmic alignment of fabulous events.

We knew we couldn’t bring our vision to fruition alone and so we sought the industry’s finest, most creative vendors to help us breathe life into our creation.  We love it when everything comes together seamlessly and once the Langham Pasadena was decided as the venue, our perfect team fell into place. Revelry provided furniture, décor and the amazing feather backdrop. Linen and chair covers by Wildflower, Images by Lighting made everything shine, Marianne Lozano Photography captured the detailed photos and Cean One Photography the portraits, chiavaris were provided by Classic Party Rentals and our guests’ experience started off with a Save the Date by Raye C Marketing and invitations by Creative Works Designs. Brenna Whitaker’s brand of Jazz kept the room full of music and Brandt Jacobus enchanted our guests with his Spanish Guitar during the cocktails and after tea.

E created a lovely Buffet de Fleurs, which ended up being a big hit. The planners were able to choose flowers that complimented their beautiful outfits and our tic-tock artists crafted gorgeous head pieces for them. They loved it!

The smiles, "oohs" and "ahhs" from our guests made this day even better than perfect, a perfection that would not have been possible without this incredible team.

Our Entertainment

 Brenna Whitaker

Born and raised in Kansas City, Brenna grew up a professional theater kid. She found herself in New York City at 17 studying and working with Wynn Handman {American Palace Theater}, Neil Wolfe {Columbia Records] and broadway veteran, Nancy Evers.

Her love for the American songbook and singers like Peggy Lee, Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, Cab Calloway and Etta James took her focus from theater to the music industry. Through years of ups and downs, paying dues and rediscovery, she has quickly established herself as one of the top vocalists in Los Angeles.

Brandt Jacobus

Spanish Classical Guitarist

Brandt Jacobus is a talented and soulful performer. His peaceful, rich melodies blend perfectly with any elegant, upscale event. Brandt’s impressive venue list is extensive.
He’s performed at The Getty Center, The Langham Huntington, The Bel Air Hotel, Doheny Mansion, Tiffany & Company, The Luxe Hotel, Park Hyatt and The Palos Verdes Country Club, just to name a few.
