Nahal and Farid

We designed the florals for Nahal and Farid's wedding at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. Fancy That! Events coordinated this lavish affair and Wind Productions captured all of the details. The bride's bouquet consisted of white roses and the stems were covered in jewels. Her bridesmaid's bouquets were red and filled with anemones and rich colored roses. The flower girl and ring bearer decor was adorned with cream garden roses. For the ceremony, we used differed varietals of white flowers from hydrangea to garden roses to orchids. The centerpieces at the reception mirrored the ceremony florals but were set high above the tables for drama.

Elana and Scott's Four Seasons Wedding

Elana and Scott's black-tie wedding at the Four Seaons in Beverly Hills was simply amazing. The beautiful color combination of citrus yellow and green with light pastel peach was gorgeous. Bella Sophia Events not only planned the wedding, they also designed the fabulous escort cards and candy buffet.

Spanish guitars played during Elana and Scott's outdoor garden ceremony and the couple stood underneath a lovely flower-filled chuppah surrounded on on sides by their guests. The chuppah even included real lemons and limes! Elana's bouquet was so soft, romantic and lush filled with roses and peonies. We added a pop of citrus yellow with calla lilies in the bridesmaid's bouquets and the ring bearer pillow was covered in leaves and decorated with roses, pearls and ribbon.

The Huntington Library's First Private Wedding

The Huntington Library and Gardens has been the site of weddings in television and movies like The Wedding Planner, The West Wing, Monster in Law and General Hospital but until Daniel and Sarah did their I Do’s, it had never been the location of a private wedding. When their planner (and our good friend) Wendy Rhodes called tic-tock, we were so excited! What an honor to create florals for the first-ever private wedding at such an historic site. It was important that the design for each aspect of the wedding complement the architecture and lush gardens of the Huntington. The design was perfect for the classic romantic feeling of the gardens and the color palette of soft and subtle shades of pink and cream with touches of green on a tabletop dressed in a perfectly textured pale linen with mercury glass votives. (Thank you James Johnson Photography for sharing his beautiful work with us!)

A Grecian Episode of David Tutera's My Fair Wedding

Photo by Michael Segal PhotographyAfter all of the fun tic-tock had with David Tutera’s My Fair Wedding “Day of the Dead” show – it was really exciting to be invited back for the Greek themed wedding with – as David says – his “Greek Goddess bride.”

One of the things that made this project so great was the dramatic Photo by Michael Segal Photographydifference between the Greek and the Day of the Dead bride. Far from the deep tones and dark drama of last week’s My Fair Wedding episode. David Tutera’s vision for this week’s Grecian inspired wedding at Castle Green in Pasadena, CA featured tablescapes of lush green fern and delicate bouganvillea…lanterns and grapes. Raj Tents provided elegant tents with tasseled golden rope tiebacks and accents creating an intimate space for each of the guest tables at the reception. Glowing lanterns were hung from each corner of the octagon-shaped tents while each tent had a Photo by Michael Segal Photographyunique lantern hanging above the center of the table. Throughout the lawn of Eulala’s dream wedding, Photo by Michael Segal PhotographyLiving Statues created a dramatic element that really helped to make her day unique and while, of course, we could go on and on about all of the wonderful details of this day, you should tune in tonight at 10pm/9 central to David Tutera’s My Fair Wedding on WeTV and watch this Grecian wedding truly befitting a goddess.

Special thanks to Michael Segal Photography for providing us with some of the beautiful images he captured that day.
